The HRI Technology Transfer Office is committed to the dissemination of NYS Department of Health basic research findings for the greatest possible public benefit. To facilitate the process of bringing basic research findings to the private sector where they can be developed further and introduced into the marketplace, HRI has established an active technology transfer program. The Department has a long and distinguished history of recognizing, promoting and developing biomedical technologies which emerge from its component institutions.

The HRI TT Office is located in upstate New York, in the city of Rensselaer–situated along the Hudson River and across from the New York State Capital in Albany.
